ONLYU – With the passing of TJ. I saw that Byron Caldwell is announcing on 1/25/21. Do you have any info on whether or not we have any shot with him ?

Utah basically stopped recruiting BC when they got a commitment from Parks.
I’d never say never but I think Utah’s chances with him are about 1%.
I think we have a shot yes but I believe we are involved with a RB or two that we might rate a bit higher at the moment. No guarantees who we’ll land and the focus could change based on a number of dominoes falling. My guess is a WR and a RB with the remaining two initials and then deferring any other possible adds to next years class via the portal. That’s my best guess today.
@Onlyu – any chance TJ Pledger and/or Deondrick Glass are in the mix? Both look really good.

Stop. Wait for the kids to announce.
Stop what?
I am with you. Nothing wrong with looking for insight into potential recruits.
Actually, we should not look for insights from anyone connected in any way with the program until recruits anounce or sign. Best to avoid issues… No reason to bait someone into mistakes.
Glass is definitely in the mix, I would not be surprice if he anounces this week.
Seems like Glass has had a hard time breaking into the 3 deep there. Definitely was a high rated recruit but they don’t seem to bummed he’s leaving. More like “Good for him, he should go to Tulsa and get some playing time”. Maybe he was injured?
^^^this^^^ For every Justin Fields (incredible impact) you have 20 Jason Shelleys (unremarkable impact)
