I hate to say it, but this makes Utah look an awful lot like Jeff Tedford’s Cal program. Tons of guys going to the NFL, but no conference championships to show for it. I’m not complaining because there are much worse alternatives, I’m just sayin’ . . .
Just look at the trajectory.
As long as we keep climbing.
Yes, success begets success. There are still many recruits who consider USC the class of the Conference. On the strength of recruits they get they are still in 3rd place in this NFL Draft race. While the Utes may not be able to compete with the SoCal attractions the ability to get to the NFL will hopefully bring better and better recruits and then that can be converted into a Pac-12 Championship — and beyond?
I think it’s simply because our defensive players vs offensive players going to the NFL is too far out of balance.
2 special teams players drafted is abnormal as well.
And look at Cal teams now…
If you attribute the exact same concern to Coach K you would have 50 thumbs up….
Know your audience..just saying
As long as SC is imitating Utah on D and WSU on O we will get stronger and stronger. Their identity has been lost. No one there now can change it.
As soon as they get someone there who can change it, they will be a juggernaut.
As per usual, Central Coast. Let’s seize the moment.
I also think it is interesting that Utah and UW have continually been at the top of their division the last few years. We broke the south champ curse last year, hopefully this is the year we win the conference.
