It is very interesting to me that the analytics on ESPN’s Matchup Predictor have Utah an 61.2% chance of winning.
A decent chance of some nice season numbers for two offensive stars:
      1. Cam Rising only needs 371 yards passing to pass for 3,000 this season. He had 415 in the game against $C in SLC. I know it was Colorado, but he looked much more like good, healthy Cam. Good timing!
      2. Dalton Kinkaid only needs 150 yards receiving to have a 1,000 yard receiving season. He had 234 against $C in the game in SLC.
Love our coaching staff versus $C’s!
      Love our Defense versus $C’s!
      Love our fans versus $C’s!
      Love Utah’s chance to repeat!!
      Go Utes!

USC wants a rematch.  They should be careful what they wish for.

Let’s not get too c**ky here.  We’d only beaten them by 1-pt, and it took our best effort of the season win it.  Don’t discount the homefield advantage that we’d enjoyed last month, because we won’t be getting that level of favorable crowd noise in Las Vegas.  USC is a very good team, who despite having clearly benefitted by playing the 3rd weakest SOS in the league, is VERY capable of still beating us.

We are the worst possible matchup for them when they have everything on the line.  I’m confident that we have a team capable of beating them again.  This is Cam’s game to win or lose.  Our Defense is good enough, and we know that our offense is capable if Cam doesn’t get too tight.

USC will be playing tight.  A possible Heisman and Playoff appearance is on the line for this team.   They have everything to lose.  Worst case, we end up in the Holliday bowl or something, which is what we thought we’d be in a few days ago.

Don’t let the fear of losing temper the enjoyment of playing with found money.  Can we lose?  Sure, but we can also win this.  Enjoy it and believe in the team that’s gone to the title game 4 out of the last 5 years.

I think it is all about Cam, Dalton, and Devaugn’s health. If they are all a go, I am confident in the team. Cam’s injury was clearly worse (watching him live at UO, he didn’t look right and it was clearly physically and mentally affecting him). USC will score, but they are not a super team. Tons of talent, sure, but we were better as a team in game 1, and if healthy, we still are.
