Reply count bug fixed…. I hope

You may have noticed sometimes the reply count on the Ute Hub mobile app was wrong.  It would show zero replies or less replies than there really are for posts in the Latest Topics and also on a single topic. This was an issue I’ve looked at many different times over the past year or so, and eventually kicked the can down the road.

Well, the can has hopefully been kicked the last time. I think I found it and fixed it.  From this post on, let’s keep a close eye on the reply counts and compare them to what they are when you load a topic.  Hopefully they will match.  This fix will only work from now and on into the future and will not affect previous posts.

I have never used the app. Is it all that and a bag o’ chips?

Give it a try.  There are things I like better on the app, and things I like better on the website.  For instance, if you just like scrolling and reading, perhaps the app is easier.  But if you write a lot of posts, I find writing with a mobile keyboard sucks.
