      “It’s a game-time decision.”

This has not turned out well the last two seasons. If it is truly a game-time decision, the player is likely not ready to play at a high level.

Whether or not you hear that phrase is, itself, a game-time decision.

College should adopt the NFL injury report. Notifications made during the week about practice (participation or non participation) Out Doubtful or questionable. There are game time decisions every week but they are ruled questionable (50-50). Fantasy football and gambling rule the NFL. Game time decision means out or doubtful at Utah. My biggest pet peeve is hiding injuries. Utah does not disclose injuries unless they’re season ending. A guy with a broken leg is out for weeks not a game time decision. I have seen no advantage the past two years from any gamesmanship on injuries. We as fans have the right to know who is hurt instead of seeing a strange number on the field.

I completely agree. I don’t think hiding injuries has helped us.

The more betting gets involved in college the more likely that is to happen. I expect it in the next couple of years.

Just imagine how badly we would’ve lost all those games that we lost if we didn’t have that tactical advantage of the other team not knowing which third or fourth string quarterback would start.

Time to bring back the weekly programs. Between the portal and not disclosing injuries last two years I have no clue who is playing half the time.

PTSD. I’m like a Nam vet hearing the whirring blades of a Huey when I read that sentence. Wait… is somebody playing Creedence?

I disagree with the notion that we have a right to know. We as fans, want all the info all the time. However, the only thing we are owed, is maximum effort from the players and the coaches to win the game.

The same could be said for the NFL. They have to be transparent with injuries. Not reporting injuries has no effect on the game.
