As with the Az St game, Utah had some untimely fumbles that were huge momentum killers. For most teams under these circumstances, these would be game killers. This is one of the most mentally tough Ute teams I’ve ever seen. Also impressive was only 3 penalties for 15 yds.
Tyler Huntley should be up for Pac 12 POY. He’s obviously not 100% healthy, yet showed no fear in a tough environment. His decision making is off the charts right now. Ludwig is putting him in positions to be successful and he is thriving.
Damn this team is fun to watch! Their toughness shows the most in the 4th quarter, when most teams are too worn out to compete.
Lets enjoy this ride. This year just has a different “feel” to it.
