What I think we need to do to start the game.

I believe that UW will stack the box and make it difficult to run. 

I think we need to come passing. Mostly short passes and to Covey as much as possible. We need some success in that first drive to get the fans into the game. We can’t afford to start the game with unsuccessful runs and a bunch of three and outs. If we are successful passing, we can open up the running game.  Taylor needs to be creative and open up the playbook.

I think the first play is a RPO, fake handoff to Moss, curl out towards Covey, fake the throw, Huntley pulls it for 20 yard gain. 

Then we are off.

Definitely need a good start on offense. I think that first offensive drive will be one of the most game defining drives of the night.

I guess I am a glass half empty kinda man, but I have seen nothing thus far to believe we won’t go 3 and out.  Slows starts against Weber and NIU give me doubts anything will be different against UDub.

What I think we need to do to start the game is kick off, or receive the kickoff, depending on the result of the coin toss. 😉
