While Utah’s class rank is 32 (total points), it’s average score is ranked 27th

Georgria Tech is ranked 24th but has a lower average score than Utah, but they have 24 commits, whereas Utah has 17 commits. Michigan has 26 commits and is slightly better than Utah in average score.

Utah was ranked 33 in 2017 and 2018, but had an almost full point lower average score in 2017 and -1.5 point lower score in 2018 when compared to 2020. 

In summary, the coaches did a good job at recruiting to lil ol’ Salt Lake City, Utah. They were patient with the process and went for quality over quantity, knowing that they were down a # of available schollies this year.

Because of missionaries our class will be a little under valued in the rankings. Someone did a calculation and if the missionaries were included we would be somewhere around 21, but then you would have to pull Moaei out if you used that model.
