Who’s out there and what are our chances? We need a couple Darrin Carringtons.

Theo Howard — Not as big of a guy as carrington was ( he’s 6’0 180), but probably the most proven talent left in the portal. Had three pretty good seasons at UCLA where he had 119 catches, 1,359 yards and 9 TDs. Transferred to Oklahoma where he had 13 catches last year for 163 yds. Kinda got lost in the shuffle of weapons there. We’ve got a decent shot at him. Ludwig is handling all that tho seeing as how we don’t have a WR coach.

Tommy Bush is another one id really like. He’s a 6’5 205 transfer from Georgia. Practice highlights are reminiscent of carrington. He hasn’t played yet due to sports hernia and then a car crash derailing the next season.

Of all positions, WR should not be a problem. I suspect KW will take his time. A lot to play out with Spring Ball happening and Utah focusing on hiring a WR coach. Utes have solid players at WR. Best of luck to Nacua and Thompson. Actually very cool if the Nacua brothers get to play together at BYU for Sampson’s last season. Most importantly Utah is loaded at QB. Utah has some very good up and coming players that will step up.
