The only thing that bothered me about the original off-campus party story (DwayneBusby?) and ‘sockgate’ was the improper benefits aspect of the story. How is he a bad hire?  It seems he has been successful at several places (DC at UGA the last few years, Asst HC/DB at Bama, 10 years as a DC in NFL with very solid Defenses, etc). 

edit – the D at Chicago Bears was horrible under Mel Tucker 2013-2015, worst in program history.

It I an absurd travesty that the 2 best teams in the SEC over much of the last decade (UGA and Bama) only play each other twice in 6-8 years with crossover games. Such a complete joke.  (Bama has a permanent crossover game with Tenn, and rotates 1 other team from SEC East each year).

Good for UCF for going undefeated (again, for the third straight year). Great run for them.

Another abysmal bowl season for the pac 12 coming up, except Utah as usual. When the bowls can pass up more highly ranked, deserving teams for “sexier” names, mismatches are created. Utes will curb stomp whoever in the Sun bowl, oregon will get curb stomped in the holiday bowl. Then the pac 12 looks bad, again, and around and around we go. 

Yeoli Child’s with 31/7/3 and 2 blocks. Just imagine what could if we offered him instead of putting all our eggs in the Markannen basket…

Great win for Fresno State. Jeff Tedford has  built a great team over there.
