Not just the recruiting, but 5he handling of the position and evaluation of talent. Witt just wants guys that won’t turn the ball over.

When your head coach refers to something as the “throw game’ it’s a problem. Throwing implies the fact that you don’t care where the ball ends up. You’re just throwing it.

A pass or passing game implies you have a target and are transferring the ball to a specific spot/person. IMO the terminology and philosophy is telling.

There is a difference between passing (requires 2 parties) and throwing (only requires one party)

Utah is fortunate to land in a P4 conference.

The 4 remaining P12 teams have some really good football history and it’s a shame they’re left in the position they are. I’m glad Utah is not one of those 4.

The Pac12 was an amazing ride. In retrospect the P12 should have raided the Big 12 (4-6 teams) early on simply to destabilize that league and eliminate competition. (Even though it may not have immediately added $$$$ ).

Here’s to KW and crew rising to the occasion and winning some more conference championships)
