What other grade you can give? Not the best preview for the 2023 Utah offense but it was more than enough to get the job done against a really good defense.

All that before the game started. Then add losing Kincaid. Pretty gutsy performance.

I don’t see Bryson Barnes being the starter over Nate Johnson for long.

that a pretty bold statement considering none of us have seen Nate Johnson take a snap in a college game.

If you told me that Barnes would be QB1 for 2023 I’d set the floor at 7-5. He threw balls into tight windows, ran the ball effectively in the first half (not sure why he didn’t run much in the 2nd half unless it was a conscious decision by the staff to limit his hits after Glover got dinged up), and really didn’t make any egregious mistakes that I saw. I’ll take that for a year while Johnson and/or Jackson develops behind him.
