Thanks Charlie. If SC doesn’t score so quickly, Utah doesn’t have the chance to come back. I’d much rather Utah has the ball with a minute and change needing one point to win that SC having the ball with a couple minutes left and Williams being able to run the clock and score with seconds left.

Really, the only thing holding him back right now is his protection. He throws a really nice deep ball, puts touch on it when needed, has been adept at fighting off tackles and has been a good scrambler. They should have been considered out for the season when they weren’t available for fall camp. Honestly, they whole “will they won’t they” has been an unnecessary distracting from what has been an amazing season so far.

I’m the biggest pessimist on this board and I am positively giddy about how well the season has gone so far

In a perfect world, I would disagree because Vaki is so valuable on defense. 2023 isn’t a perfect world for Utah Football so they’ve got to make use of their best assets however they can. Vaki playing both ways is one decision you will never hear me questioning the staff for.
