McAfee was the only one to pick Utah
Like everyone, i was shocked at our lack of pressure on the QB but as was noted we rarely called for pressure… to the extent that I started to think it had to be a strategic decision not to blitz. I looked it up during the 3Q and this season Stroud was rated #1 against pressure of all D1 QBs… so a pick your poison situation to be sure, but the result was he had all day every play to pick his targets and dial up dimes… given the L it’s hard not to wonder whether this was the right strategy, but i guess it nearly got the job done. Plenty of Monday morning QBing to go around, but for me this was the biggest thing to second guess about the game plan.
I’m gothamute and i approve this message.
Apparently this is what is currently being discussed…
Pretty sure that (unbelievably ridiculous) rule only applies to B12 conference games…
Seriously, how thin skinned can you be…
Graduate transfer
We were out of timeouts
Anyone figure out when they will actually reveal what seats we’re getting if we bought through OSU?
There is a disclaimer that makes me a bit uncomfortable:
“Ohio State reserves the right to adjust your request to a different price level should demand exceed supply.”
Makes me wonder if demand > supply some folks might get bleachers who thought they were getting seats, and worst case some might get refunds who thought they were getting tickets…
Man, I really hope you’re right. No CFB for another 16 months would be brutal. BUT, Wimbledon just cancelled, so if the NCAA moves forward with a CFB season it would be an (increasingly isolated) exception…
I just don’t see the NCAA doing what no one else is willing to do.
SUCK IT COVID!!
I really really really HATE to agree with this, but I think you’re exactly right. Italy believes that a Champions League soccer match is what exploded the virus in Northern Italy (by far the worst-hit place in the world so far)…
So until there’s a vaccine I just don’t see games being played in front of fans… no government (or school for that matter) wants to be responsible for a repeat of the Bergamo experience. And unless the number of new infections goes to nearly zero by next month, I don’t see the ’20 season being played at all. I mean, the Olympics (which have a lot more $ riding on them) were supposed to start at the end of July and they’ve already been cancelled… so 🙁
