There was zero chance that the Pac-12 would have taken in tds. The left leaning presidents of the universities would never have considered a conservative religious school like tds. If Utah had said “We won’t come in without tds.” They would have been left out too.
It’s far from a done deal. It’s just in planning stages. The money has to be approved by the legislature for all of this masterplan. Does anyone remember the plan. To turn the RES west lot into some kind of fun zone development? Never happened.
By all means, let’s just assume that the reporters covering this situation are mistaken, and publishing falsehoods, or mistakes. KSL is always getting this s**t wrong.
