  Are you aware of the exact injuries with Hubert and Blackmon. I’m wondering if this affects Huberts ability to play at all next year like Britt Covey and of Blackmon will be able to ply at next year in the NFL. Whitt announced today that both had pretty serious injuries.

  Blackmon had a pretty serious tone to his instagram post a few days ago. I am guessing ACL just based on how those usually go down.

  I read somewhere that Blackmon posted somewhere that he tore his ACL. Heard the same thing about Hubert but have no idea if accurate.

  I thought Covey was redshirting with the hopes of playing in 2020. I also know the coaches are working with him to learn coaching. Due to his size (same as me!) I doubt he’d be very attractive to the NFL. He might provide some excitement for XFL or somesuch, otherwise I see Covey getting a GA position and becoming a coach.

      Completely unproven that he has “it” but it would be interesting to see what happens.

    I think when OnlyU refers to “shutting it down” he meant this year. Covey will be back next year.

  Similar injuries but hard to predict how they come back from them. 8-9 months has recently been plenty of time for guys to come back from an ACL unless they require more clean up or have a set back. Brit had an additional procedure that set him back and he had a redshirt year to use. He also had a soft tissue leg injury on top that made it all more difficult to get ready each week so he decided to shut it down.
