  3 big 12 games this weekend. (Probably wish a couple of others hadn’t been played today)
  
  1 ACC conference game was cancelled, doubts about Va Tech’s next game.
  
  Texas State’s starting qb had to sit due to a positive test
  
  Georgia Southern had 33 players out due to Covid.

    This is why they scaled down the number of games and put in bye weeks. Not saying the full season will take place, but they/we all knew some games would get postponed and some teams would have to have starters sit. They all accepted those terms so I dont think this was a big shock.

      The only shock to me was the ACC actually leaking their zero barrier to the media on when they will pull the plug.

    Big 10 will meet sunday to determine if the “fall” footgall schedule can be restarted. Is the Pac involved, will the Pac follow suit? It would be awful to be the only P5 not playing.

      The PAC12 faces the additional barrier of the California and Oregon governors preventing teams from even practicing at this point. The board could say full go tomorrow and six teams would still be unable to compete.

      Everthing I’m seeing is that the Pac12 will be a no-go to get started in time to finish before the end of the year.
      
      It seemed like the Pac12 and Big10 were unified in cancelling the fall season a few weeks ago. The notable difference since then has been the coaches and players at most of the schools in the Big10 were not going to take no for an answer while everyone in the Pac12 went quiet. (There are also governors in the Big10 footprint who are/were opposed to football as well)

        I forgot about Whitmer and her allies in Illinois, New York, and Maryland. The better question is does the Big Ten go forward with the Big Ten West and Ohio St. and Penn State? Or back to the crazy temporary Big Ten Pac12 merger consisting of teams who’s governors will allow them to play?

  Pac won’t play until thanksgiving. Sorry to be blunt. CA and Ore super liberal states are not going to be do anything until after the election. Is it political ? At this point I believe it is. Plus. These schools don’t really care. And yes that includes USC

  Isn’t Utah County a local hotspot? Yeah, they have “honor code” at BYU, but aren’t they the epicenter of NCMO?
