At UW he was a senior that hadn’t used his redshirt. I believe that gives him 2 years to play 2. Apparently he played in every game at UW, but only had one game as a starter (notably the Rose Bowl). Definitely a high value, experienced transfer.
At the beginning of spring ball, there was a rumor we had a commitment from a receiver that would be announced after spring ball ended. Speculation was that it is is UO/UCLA receiver
In reading about McKinney, I saw the following article about Josh Calvert leaving UW. I realize we are not looking for LBs, but it might be fun for him to join his younger brother at the U.
