What a ride this year has been huh? Everything is coming up Philly. Sixers had a big win last night, now in second place in the East, rolling with triple double, the new generation’s Stockton and Malone (seriously, as pretty as Stock and Malone were in the Pick and Roll, you now have a more athletic duo in Harden and Embiid running it…it’s beautiful. Sloan is smiling down on the Sixers from heaven right now).
And the Phightin’s getting Turner…man, we look good. I don’t think we win the East, it’s too good. BUT, our Phils are built for a sprint, not the marathon that is the regular season in baseball. If we make the playoffs healthy, with Wheeler, Nola, Suarez and our pen…we can definitely win it all.
But let’s be real. We are really here for our Birds. Man, 24 hours and change and we get to take it to the Giants. I’m excited for it. Hurts has been so fun to watch. He’s incredible. The WR’s. The secondary. The DL. Hot damn, this team is stacked. It’s crazy when you think about it. The Eagles have:
Arguably the MVP at QB.
Arguably the best receiving group.
Arguably the best OL.
Arguably the best DL.
And if healthy, the best secondary.
What a freaking time to be alive.
