  There is something in common across Utah Football, Basketball, and the Utah Jazz. a historical laser focus on great defense. Is that a coincidence or something more? Why is it happening?

  People in Utah are also generally more defensive. Not necessarily the best personality trait, but better than being offensive I suppose?

  Utah will never bring in that sexy high profile, recruit or free agent. The local religislature, with their “don’t like it? Then leave” attitude assures that for the foreseeable future. So the teams around here must build with what they can – hard workers with a chip on their soldier – which usually means better defense, less offense.
