      Indiana.

I wonder when we’ll get news on Rising

      *insert tweet here*

Also, I’m trying to copy/paste the tweet URL and get this error:

Oops! To post a tweet simply paste the tweet URL on its own line in the editor. Please do not use the link dialog. The HELP section is here for more info: https://www.utehub.com/help

      I’m doing exactly this:

      Post a Twitter Tweet

      1. Click on the tweet.
      2. Copy the URL of the tweet from the URL bar of your browser. DO NOT USE THE “Copy Link to Tweet” button!
      3. Paste tweet URL in the text editor area on its own line

      and getting the error

Just wait. Rising won’t get his waiver and Ute Nation will implode. From a strategic standpoint, I actually think it might not be the worst thing in the world if Rising doesn’t get his waiver. It will solidify Shelley as the number 2 and erase any potential QB controversy, guaranteeing Shelley doesn’t transfer this year.

Then him and Rising will Duke it out for the starter spot in 20′.

The downside to this is you lose out on depth if Rising doesn’t get the waiver.

Yeah, Rising getting a waiver is only going to effect our depth next year. If he doesn’t get it, that’s fine but I can’t imagine granting a waiver to a kid who moved a helluva lot further from home vs. a kid who moved closer to home and to a degree program not offered at his prior university.

You’re attempting to apply logic to NCAA decision-making. You shouldn’t do that.

There is a timing difference.  Tuttle left early enough to withdraw from fall classes, so it is as if he didnt attend, I think.

I don’t care if Rising gets it. Why not save four years? Shelley was damn good.

He red shirted last year. He’ll be down a season after this year, eligible or not.
