Really hard-fought game for the Utes. Ole Miss’s coach is from the Bahamas and loved, so there was quite a crowd cheering for the Rebels. Ole Miss was up for most of the game but the Utes just wouldn’t stop coming back at them. Rebels D were really athletic and out on our guards the whole game so the Utes’s interior players had to do a lot of the work this game. Issy Palmer hit a clutch three at the end and on the final possession McQueen got bowled over shooting a 3 with 0.6 seconds remaining. When the NCAA tournament comes around, this will be a good win on the resume, and it really should be considered a road win given the environment.
