#81 Connor O’Toole, RS Sophomore DE, 6-4, 210
Contrary to expectation, Connor O’Toole is not an Irish pub in Trolley Square. Connor moved over to DE from WR, perhaps motivated by the 10 tackles he had on special teams in 2021. Connor is from New Mexico where he was Albuquerque Metro Male Athlete of Year in 2018, as a junior, playing WR and DE for La Cueva HS (Albuquerque) in their run to the State Championship, as well as being 2019 Albuquerque Track Athlete of Year, qualifing in five events (his senior football season was cut short by injury). At Utah he led the Red Team with 4 tackles (tied with Darrien Stewart and Josh Calvert), including 1 for loss, in the 2022 Spring Game. With his size and speed he could surprise some teams as a newcomer edge rusher. I see big pick-6 potential should he snag an INT.
