I agree with him. Thomas is very intriguing but has been a little slower to pick up his responsibilities. Give him the ball and he “runs mean” but he’s got to be able to understand his assignments and pick up the right guy. Pledger is better in that aspect so far. Bernard is the best all around back (excellent hands) and Curry is a bruiser.
I still think Pledger is the 1 but as Thomas figures things out he’ll challenge him purely on skill set. Bernard and Pledger are our best options on 3rd down unless it’s short yardage…then the other two come into play. That’s the way I see it today.
