The PAC-12 is so dumb. They way they schedule is insane. LSU did not play two teams they could lose to in back to back weeks, while USC played Stanford, @BYU, Utah, @UW and Notre Dame. They played 5 games in a six week stretch where they could lose all 5. No SEC team schedules that way.

Alabama has FCS or Bye almost every year before LSU and Auburn.

The PAC-12 needs to go full on SEC scheduling. 7 conf games (because the SEC has only 8 games and 14 teams so they miss each other more often, the only way to replicate that is to schedule 7 games or add two more teams and they won’t add teams) and go as easy as possible.

And Utah needs to drop BYU. That game is so dumb. Drop them so we can add a lower level P5 like Arkansas or Baylor (although Baylor is trending up). I hate that BYU game so much.

Stanford and byu are terrible. You clearly live in utah. The rest of the country would have laughed at this argument.

Thank you. That was a terrific read. I agree with the tenants of this article. As with the Bleacher Report, I believe Utah will beat Colorado. The win will have style points by definition. That is how Utah rolls. As Moss would say (and I paraphrase), “It’s not the opponent, it’s us.”  If the game is played in what it took me 4 hours to remove from my driveway today, Moss and the other Utah running backs will rack up 400 yards on the ground. Moss will establish the most yards ever gained by a running back at Utah. Absolutely no disrespect to Colorado. Utah will roll.

I also believe Utah will leave no doubt it is better and more deserving with its Pac-12 Championship game against Oregon. Again, as Moss would say (and I paraphrase), “We will take care of our business.” Some folks believe Utah has peaked and will maintain this plateau. I don’t think they have peaked.

The maturity of this lot is something I have never seen at Utah. They know what they want. I believe they will deliver.

      Just sayin’.
