PARK CITY, Utah – University of Utah head Nordic ski coach Miles Havlick has been selected by U.S. Ski & Snowboard as Cross Country Development Coach of the Year, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The award commemorates not only the success realized by Havlick and the Utes on the way to Utah’s 15th national championship (14th NCAA title) this past season, but also the impact Havlick and his athletes are having on sport development. It additionally recognizes the team culture Havlick has helped establish with the Utes and collaboration with the national team.
