  how can you sit in a film session and pretend to give a s**t about schemes and coverages. if a loss is coming i wouldnt be the least bit surpised, nor would i care. this is bigger than footall. If we take a loss because these kids are mourning, so f**king be it

  I agree. And anyone cling for Whitts head can f**k off. That man has to be going through a lot of pain right now. He’s a father figure to the boys.

      People have been since the byu game. Since Ty Jordan died he hasn’t been the same. I don’t know why people would because I’m not one of them. Why would you think they would?

        Oh. I thought you were referring specifically to Lowe / Jordan dying which I couldn’t see how anyone would link to Whitt.
        
        As for Whitt’s job performance, that will be constantly analyzed whether you want it or not. That’s part of the leadership function. Once he gets the team together, they see counselors, vote on whether they want to play the SC game (they will and it will be unanimous), have the memorial.,, the job continues and so will the analysis.
        
        We all deal with tragedies in our lives and have to find a way to move on. People who don’t want Whitt to be the Utah Head Coach aren’t going to change their opinion because one of his players was shot at a party.

  Utah has a bye this week, so yeah, hopefully everything can be processed in the proper way and time for these players.

  Yep, totally agree. I’m not in their shoes, maybe this motivates the team, but if it doesn’t, I’m ok with that. These guys are just kids. They have lost more people to tragedies in the last year than I have in 30+. These losses have affected me, and I hardly knew anything about these young men.

  For the coaches and players Football itself can be mentally draining. Adding in all of life’s s**ttiness makes it a lot more difficult.
  
  I see this as an opportunity to bring out the best in this fan base. Positivity is what this world needs right now. Haters gonna hate, I won’t let it concern me. This team responded on Saturday and I believe they will respond going forward. They are young and resilient kids. Gonna be a great season as tribute is made to Jordan and Lowe.
