Hope we can hold onto him. He’s a WR out of Oregon who committed back on Dec14 but didn’t sign in the early period. Oregon and ASU were the main two schools we beat out for him, but in the past few days he’s received offers from USC, ND, and Florida. Clearly other schools feel he’s still up in the air with his commitment leading up to the final signing day. Keeping him a Ute would be huge.

I’m not sure how this will go but there is some question about the overall fit here from those within the program. That probably sounds worse than I meant it but I know there is current evaluation going on, in both camps, trying to determine if this is a mutually beneficial landing spot for both parties.

I agree, he is really talented and I’d personally love to add him but there a lot of things in play that could lead to that spot being utilized elsewhere. Not saying it’s a done deal that we move on just saying it’s certainly a possibility.
