Which is good news for Utah. We’re not getting BIG invite, so we need to hope to remain hitched with as many strong brands as possible — whether in Pac-12 or Big12.

Growing reality is the Ducks and Huskies have to 1) make it work in the #Pac12 or 2) join the Big 12.
My guess: 1) is their preference

Heard it summed-up well that wherever Oregon and Washington go, the other contenders in the Pac-12 should follow. If UO and UW stay in Pac, then stay, if they jump to Big-12 go with them. But if they get a Big-Ten invite the others may not be invited. So worst-case scenario for Pac-12 is UO and UW going to the Big-Ten. In that case might have to team up with Big-12 but might be treated as a tier below the other erstwhile P5 conferences. Like a G5+, which would suck.
I generally understand this sentiment, but I think Utah and ASU, in particular, are in a place where they can be leaders here too. I also don’t think we NEED to have our wagon hitched to the UO and UW. While I want to stay with them because they are fun, regional matchups, we’d be just fine bolting to the Big12 with ASU, UA, and CU.
