This is exactly why team sports are going to be a challenge. Once team members test positive – what do you do?
We need a viable vaccine.
I want a college football season so bad. However, I just don’t see it happening this fall.
They were playing the Phillies.
The Yanks are now in Philly.
I’m gonna bet players on both teams are wearing masks.
So what happens in the NFL (or college) when a team has a huge outbreak and can’t play for a week or two? In baseball, common to have a make up game (often play a double header) for games cancelled by weather. But in football, usually not feasible to do that. (Can’t really have teams play an extra Wednesday in the middle of the week for example)
You would think these questions have been discussed. It’s going to be interesting to say the least.
From what I’ve read, that is one of the reasons for conference only games. The have the flexability to reschedule games and can put off the championship game until late December if needs be.
I like that.
Games are missed missed. Survival of the fittest/luckiest. National champ always had an * by its name in the redbird books?
That is a team of 30 grown men who play a non-contact sport. Team of 100 people in there late teens and early 20’s? We may get the Oregon game before it shuts down, that is if it survives fall camp.
1-0 then. #undefeated

Can’t claim a natty. byu already won it.
