My first Ute event was Women’s Tennis – tds @ Utah 1990.

My first memory seeing the Utes play was in 2004 when we destroyed Texas A&M, I was only 12 at the time. But this game ultimately led me to become a huge Ute fan, growing up in Utah County, which wasn’t easy.

LOT easier to live (or work as I do) in Utah County now than it was a few decades ago.

Now instead of resenting arrogant Cougar fans used to beating us year and year, I just sort of pity them now.

Likely watched some of my teammates, 2 years later and I would have been on the courts!   I think 1992 was the first year in quite awhile that we beat the Y in a match.  Great memories at the Eccles tennis facility!
