My thoughts about the game

– Tavion is our RB1.  He needs to be in the game.

– Our Oline has improved A LOT.

– Rising seems to be a good leader

– It seems that our receiving targets will be our tight ends, Covey and Vele.

– Our 4th down defense was terrible!

– Our defense overall is not your typical KW and Scalley D.  We are young, so I hope for a better future.

– Nice win!!!

-OLine won that game last night…A+ performance!
-Rising was outstanding. He’s clearly the leader of the team and the kids rally around him….A
-Our defense has to be the youngest in program history. 9/11 are freshmen I believe. The offense is going to have to continue carrying the team IMO. But I’m confident with Whitt and Scalley they will continue getting better and the future is very bright on that side of the ball.

Lastly, I’m looking forward to playing for a conference championship and a shot at the Rose Bowl for the 3rd time in 4 years! No matter our record, that’s one helluva an accomplishment for our program. And if we can finally break through this year, the impacts of that accomplishment in terms of recruiting, prestige, and setting us up for exciting seasons to follow are all incredibly exciting to me. Go Utes!!

Personally, I like the way we are mixing up the RB’s.  TT is obviously the tank of the group, but throwing in Pledge and Bern are a great way to mix it up and change the tempo.  Once the D get’s theirs sites set on one, we throw in the other.  Change my mind~!
