It’s kinda like the chicken and the egg thing. Larry has teams finish higher then expected with the talent he had but we expect more. Larry did do better when he had better talent. Now the next question: Is it because of Larry that we don’t have better talent?
The problem is until the FBI investigation into paying players blew up a year and a half ago he wasn’t recruiting on level ground. Quite a coincidence that once everybody was on the same playing field our recruiting picked up.
