I was thinking about our coaches and what an awesome job they have done recently… that got me thinking.
Why is Ludwig’s name never mentioned as a possible HC here? Is he not interested? Too old? I wouldn’t pick him over Scalley because of the age thing, but Luddy has done a fantastic job since returning… this year in particular. I can only remember a few plays that just didn’t seem like the right call. In most situations where plays haven’t worked there have been plays to be made, just poor execution.
I think Scalley is the guy because of his personality, his age, his longer tenure here, and more sustained success…but I wonder if Ludwig is interested.
