    What does any of that have to do with religious conviction? Being a fan of BYU and wanting their rival’s fans to have bad things happen to them doesn’t have anything to do with their religion. That’s just being a bad person.
    
    If they were praying for bad things to happen, or doing bad things in the name of religion, that would be another story. In this instance, it has absolutely nothing to do with religion.
