Where does Utah end in the rankings with a Rose Bowl win?

Started the year at #7, do we finish the year ranked the same? I think #9 is about our best hope. No way are Alabama, Tennessee, dropping below us even with a loss. And USC isn’t losing in their bowl game, or will they? Does Caleb Williams even play? TCU might drop below us with a loss.

Can’t wait to see how this season finishes. We’re playing with house money now. Just give me a Utes victory in the Rose Bowl please!

I would be very surprised to find that after Friday’s dominating CCG win, we’d be ranked any lower than 8th when tomorrow’s final CFP poll gets released.  And a win in the Rose Bowl over a highly ranked BigTen team (most likely Penn St), should move us up to Top-5 when the AP issues its final ranking.
