Wasn’t our best outing.  Played very well on offense.  We are on a consistent path

Defense did not play great but was not horrible.

Special teams made another huge mistake.  We need to coach it better.  Messed up on blocking for the punt.  The ball came out on time.  It was missed assignments on blocking.

Oregon is a really good football team.  Both defensive ends are very good.  They are loaded at skill positions.

Wants everyone at RES early on Saturday.

No more injury talk because there are only two weeks left.  He hopes to have more people available this week than last week.

TJ is a very good RB.  He has been running hard and is probably the best RB in pass protection.  Not the biggest kid, but has strength and quickness.

Prepare for each game the same exact way. (I think this is coach speak and not exactly true.)

Thibodeaux is one of the best athletes in the country.  They have no way to replicate his athleticism in practice.

Ford can play all 5 Oline positions.

Recruiting is what it is all about.  Oregon has done a fantastic job recruiting.

Their QB is an outstanding runner.  He is big, strong, and fast.

Noah Sewell is an excellent LB who has all the tools.

He thinks freshmen are getting better each week.  They are starting to grow up.

Offensive red-zone production has been much better this year.  They have made this a point of emphasis and Tavion has helped.  They also try to mix up the playing calling to be less predictable.

      Biggest test of the year.

Proud… thanks so much for posting these.  I’d much rather read this in 60 seconds rather than listen to it for 15 minutes.  Also, I’m pretty sure I could do these coach interviews on behalf of Whitt at this point.  Rinse and repeat interviews.  Better than giving Oregon any ammunition, I suppose.

Nah, he should have said Oregon wasn’t a rival since Utah only focuses on schools which are more academically prowesed.
