Who will the top 4 in the 60jn60 be

I know it doesn’t mean much, but interesting nonetheless to see what our local media think.  My prediction is

1. Lloyd

2. Alligier

3. Kuithe

4. Empey

My top 4 would be

1. Lloyd

2. Kuithe

3. Alligier

4. Brewer

if I knew who will be our go-to running back, I would have him in the top four. The Utes produce NFL caliber running backs 

Other Utes I expect to be major contributors are Covey, Howard, Sewell, Tafua and Phillips.

This will be like last year, or many other years where we were waiting on the backfield to settle in. Even 2004, the Utes used the “thunder and lightning” approach with 2-3 running backs. Wait, weren’t they all thunder? Quinton Ganther and Marty Johnson.

Marty led the nation in rushing at the beginning of the 2002 season after a few games I believe. Then the ACL injury. We are way deeper than those days with the same mentality.

I’m sure we’ll see all 4 “OR” running backs this season. All 4 guys are sick.

Edit: I used OR and sick in the same post. During these times, I’m trying to avoid such words. If we can come up with a better tagline for guys in the mix at Utah, that would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I knew that. That’s why I don’t include him in my projected top four from the media. However, my personal top four would include him.

Braves are probably in too.  It will be interesting to see what happens in the NL West and, of course, the wild card.
