I’m driving out Saturday morning and only staying 1 night. Hotel rooms were outrageous… Pretty sure there will be some lot lizards hanging at the place I’m staying.

Bugger. I don’t want to pay that much for a hotel. Guess I could go straight to Denver after the game. It’s only a couple of hours.

It’s like an hour to ft collins, plenty of places to stay along I-25 headed south there

Wait a minute. Just looked at my calendar. I’m going to a concert in Denver the night after the Wyoming game. This is shaping up to be a hell of a road trip.

I’m a long time Bruin fan who has a son at Utah. I route for the Utes every game except for this one. It’s been great being a fan of Utah since UCLA hasn’t done anything relevant in over 30 years. As difficult as last year was for the Utes, I still think they had more to build on coming into this season vs. the Bruins. The Bruins have an entire new offense and lost a lot of key talent on the defense. They have yet to win a meaningful game under Coach Foster and I don’t believe they will win this game. The game will be close but the Utes D will pull it off. I’m looking forward to seeing the Utes offensive improvements.

Wow, the voters have really gotten drunk on the Kenny Dillingham ASU Kool Aid. I look forward that team to have a pretty drastic correction with essentially a regression to the mean. They’re absolutely not sneaking up on anybody this season.

We are historically bad in the early season, and on the road.

Lots of PTSD as results of two seasons of injured QBs. Even Urban had to get started with what he could starting late in the recruiting cycle. Like Meyer Beck did inherit some good pieces and can have a good first year. I want to give the new offense a chance and see if it lives up being a contender. No reason to relate the new offense to the old offense, it has the feel of different.
