      After 3 weeks with few notable games, polls are based more on conjecture than fact. There are always a handful of teams that start off highly ranked and end up unranked.
      With that, Utah has as good of an argument as anyone to be in the top ten in week 3. I see the ranking as a confirmation that the Ute football program is gaining consistent nation respect.

      I hope it’s true even though I had hoped for other outcomes. After all the drama, the TDS fans had a 48 hour taste of the exclusivity we’ve had for the past 10+ years.

      Let’s win the last Rose Bowl and then take the Big12 by storm.

      I’d love for the team to be for real. The Arizona win was great. The other three were against the 3 worst teams in the conference, and they are all legitimately bad teams. This week will tell a lot.

      My observation is that we are still lack the athleticism to be a good team. Smith is over-reliant on his comfort player (worster). Even then, the middle of the PAC is an improvement over last year.

      It has a high price because it’s part of a set. 2 have been signed so far. The final set is slated to have up to 4 helmets from different schools all graciously signed by Tuttle.

      I was told that Smith is looking to have 4-5 scholarships ready to go for recruiting. These departures are part of the plan. Battin, DJJ and Thioune are not PAC 12 players.

      I attended the PAC 12 bball tourney in Vegas. It was clear after watching all the teams play during the tournament that Utah was the least athletic, and it wasn’t close. Smith has to do a lot of upgrading to be competitive.

      As I understand it, anti-trust is only an issue if consumers are affected. I don’t see it applying on any level to realignment.

      Agreed. Tavion Thomas was extremely effective on short yardage and in the red zone. Let’s stick to that plan.
