$2M and KSU didn’t even sniff the Big12 championship game, wow! Not sure he’s worth $2M. I just think NIL is just so poorly ran and out of control. Half these kids aren’t even performing to what they are making. It’s highway robbery.

Our strength is our OL and we imported one of the top rushing QBs with two solid RBs behind him, in an offense built around him. We will run the ball, chew up clock and force people to score on our defense to win.

Looking at our Defense headlined by Tao, Scoob, Snowden, Damuni, Hall, Fano, Barton — we are going to be great.

This is a 9-10 win season as long as Dampier is healthy.

Update: Notification never arrived to the recipient today, so I cancelled the transfer that I initiated through the website and re-did the ticket transfer through the app. That one worked immediately and he got the notification right away.

Dunno what the difference is (they both link to what looks like the same external browser page) but the app seems to work better than the website. Just FYI for anyone else in the same boat.

There have been guys. It’s been a product of a system / coach to me. You look at Tim Patrick and Devaughn Vele and success in the NFL just recently. I’m forgetting others to be sure.

Just this last year I fully expect Dorian Singer to go from undrafted free agent to a solid NFL player. I don’t think a team has ever wasted talent so much before.

Wide receiver has consistently been one of the toughest positions for the Utes to recruit and get consistently good production from. No doubt.

If only they could be more like TDS and their high flying offense. Right? They currently have 2 WR’s in the NFL.

      Utah has 3.

I’m not counting training camp spots so TDS could have more but so could Utah with Singer in a strong spot to make the Jags.

All the things you listed are the only reasons he was available and in the portal.

      Counter Point
With ND highly touted recruit, who didn’t live up to those expectations. But ND has those every year and so he easily replaced, so he transferred for opportunity and fresh start.

With Cal, he was injured. As frustrating as they are, it’s part of the game, and can only control so much with injuries. And Cal is in a bit of turmoil, with realignment, many players xferr’d and coach on the hot seat, he decided to leave.

He came to Utah seeing a huge opportunity to contribute, he’s more mature, knows this is his last chance to prove himself. Hopefully he does work hard and finally is able to put his physical talents together with his now more mature mentality.

This is a nice analysis, but meaningless in the portal era. It took whole recruiting cycle to upgrade rosters. Now an entire team can turnover in one offseason.

The longest acclimation period in KW’s system is QB, O-Line, LB, safety. I think you need two years to turnaround those units. DE, WR, RB, CB can be fixed in one turn of the portal now. Year-to-year variances are incomparable to even 5 years ago.

Yeah. It doesn’t help I feel Whitt is always overly positive during fall camp no matter what lmao

Every off-season I say I won’t fall for the trap. Then about 2 weeks out I inevitably fail and go full bore homer and say we are going to be fu**ing amazing.

      It’s my toxic trait.
