No one disputes that the majority of those games were close. The thread is about whether your fanbase is capable of being gracious in defeat. In my experience, which started with the ’88 game, they are not. As a group they are bad losers and even worse winners and every year they weren’t on the schedule was a joy to behold.

And then there was the ’24 class where everyone on Utah’s offer list committed elsewhere and the last 4 or 5 commits were in the 84/85 range.

In truth, the only difference between what Riley and Sanders are doing is their starting point. SC had a talented roster that Riley was able to add to. Colorado had one of, if not the worst P5 roster when Sanders took over.
