He’s not on the hot seat because his players stay out of trouble, graduate with high GPAs, and go on to found tech startups that make 9 figures in an IPO. And Stanford is totally OK with that. And to be honest, more schools and fans should be totally OK with that as well.

Based on the body of work so far, I’d say he’s right. This is definitely a better team than last year. The question is how much did the rest of the conference improve?

cj I agree with you 100%. Schedule the best “A” games you can get for OOC.

I was thinking that same thing when it happened. Nothing says bad coaching like “we need 2 yards on this play, so let’s go for 40.”

Meh. Just kids being kids and looking for any kind of win in a season where there’s been very little of that. Most of those guys are going to end up in the transfer portal anyway.

I’ve been supremely confident that we would get a win in every game this year except UCLA. But I am absolutely not confident in this one. The way U of Pay plays is not a good matchup for us.
