Haven’t had a lot of time to look at Rodgers but Parker was a Freshman playing big boy football. He got 735 yards on 137 carries behind a Washington State O-Line. So that is 11 or 12 runs per game at over 5 yards per carry. The rest of the team had 302 carries for 1324 yards. So about 25 carries per game at 4.38 yards per carry.

Also as the season went on he started to get a bigger share of the carries on that team.

I am optimistic but you never know how a kid will look when he steps up a level. Either way he was productive and I can see coach Witt saying give that kid the ball 20-25 times a game, and if with our O-Line we can average 4.5+ yards per carry we will take it. If we can get over 5 Yards per carry we will be rolling.

Oh and don’t forget having a running qb will require defenses to assign at least one defender to the qb.

Parker is having a good camp, then, suddenly, Rogers is pushing Parker. Maybe someone doesn’t want Parker getting too comfortable. And maybe Rogers started having a good camp, too.

Also should be noted, tickets are going to be managed through the Utah360 App and you need a separate Paciolan login – then you can transfer via Utah360 app or sell via SeatGeek.

I have had good luck with them for hockey tickets so far. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will work well for football as well.

Allegedly they’ll be available in the new app on 8/19. But yeah, no communication from the athletic department

A two headed monster would be nice. With the field spread and a running QB speed and quickness should spring some big runs for the RBs. Utah RBs in the past have to break tackles and run through arm tackles to get yrds. Bernard was our only back that could get yrds after contact. Hopefully this new spread offense will open bigger running lanes for our RBs.

I, too, watched the Locked On stuff a little last year. It was actually OK during the season, but the commitment to clickbaiting/ragebaiting engagement in the offseason put me off the show.

My favorite show now is Hans and Scotty G on KSL sports. They put it all on YouTube. They know football much better than the other KSL hosts, and now that both Utah and TDS are both in the Big 12 they talk about the Big 12 conference race plenty.

Also, not a long-term solution, but a show called Sports Gambling Podcast did a Big 12 preview that went deeper than the obvious points everybody already knows. Got me through a 4 hour drive.

I’m not the only one who’s crazy.

Josh Furlong looks at it from different angles.

I think Parker is all of what Bernard was. As for Jackson I really wished we could have seen him with a complete season where he was healthy. Could have been all time.
