Hate is a pretty strong word. I don’t much care for the B12 today or even previously. Born and raised in the upper midwest never much caring about the South West Conference or any of the Big iterations that followed. True in the yesterday and true today. It might seem a novelty to some here on the Wasatch but it really is as bland as oatmeal for breakfast.

Too bad Tulane lost today. I was really hoping the B12 was going to get skunked with the committee.

I had a mentor in a fortune 500 who taught me that if I didn’t piss someone off once a day, I’m not doing my job. A valuable lesson in the business world if you want to succeed.

In regards to the Big 12, this fan boy will always be a entitled a$$hole.

Bad job, bad marriage, bad conference. Money should never come into play when you know it is not working. New PAC 12 looks like a safe harbor to tread until the money comes around again and it will. If I were Randall, I’d be making phone calls.

I too was thinking about the Fassel angle over the weekend and dismissed it because he went on to find success in the “league”.

How hard is it to run it up the gut. Everyone in the world has it figured out. I’ve never understood the “it’s complicated” thing. From my perch the Ute’s offense looks Pop Warner simple.

I’m hoping there is some serious soul searching going on up on the hill. Status quo is not the answer. By the way, Saturday night’s bluegrass concert in town alleviated a lot of afternoon’s agitation.

I’m all for taking a pay cut. Make some phone calls to the Pacific Northwest, turn around and give notice to the B1g 12, wait it out in the new PAC or just go full bore into the deal. I don’t care if it will be temporary or full time. Happiness over money. Life is to short to let yourself live in misery. There are rewards other than the cash flow.

Ribs, chicken and sweet corn are my usuals that go with the greens and the company is more agreeable. Yummy.

All these Big 12 echo chamber guys. I was sick of them when the PAC was busy dying and now today we find ourselves stuck with them. Troll, Goober Neighbors, Kurtz, Grand Pa in Kansas, Weird Uncle in West Virginia and all the others. These guy’s are just like the Zoobs and that is why it is a marriage made in Heaven for them.

This strikes home. Being from the upper midwest we have our share of rivalries. Paul Bunyon’s Ax with Wiscy, Little Brown Jug with Michigan and (Pink) Floyd the Pig with Iowa. If Harlan/Randall can find a escape clause, I for one would be happy being in the new PAC. Eventually Cal and Ford will be coming back home too. Better than what we have now and never wanted to be here in the first place. Money is nice. Being home is better.
