NR was a MW RB2 last year.

Other side of the coin is WP is not as advertised and RB talent is worse than we thought. It’s not like our success rate with 4* RB the last 3 classes is batting a thousand, closer to zero.

Sorry Proud, cautiously pessimistic. Whitt’s offense has been anemic for basically 18 of last 24 games. I’ll believe the turnaround when I see it.

Not here to rain on the parade entirely. I do hope Beck’s scheme isn’t heavily talent dependent and it schemes productivity from under recruited 3* that fit the system (see something like a Mike Leach team). Because that looks like our talent pool and best outcome based on current circumstances.

My goodness guys – There is more talent in the running back room this season, there is better coaching in the running back room and there are two all-American tackles on the O’line. I’m guessing our offensive coordinator knows all of these things and will particularly use those tackles to spring running backs (and whomever else runs the ball) to the second level.

Oh, and I hear our quarterback can run.

He was RB2 at the number 1 rushing offense in THE NATION (D1 football)!

Also, do I need to remind you that Skatabo, who was a helluva RB at ASU played at a D2 school before transferring to ASU.

I’m confident that, given the o-line, this Utah offense is going to be very good, possibly great!

Hate to agree with Yergensen on this one, but I do. I just can’t bring myself to get excited. I’m trying to force it by checking UteHub every day, but I just can’t do it.

      This is great.

A best case scenario sees us having a pretty damn spicy run game.

Imagine our o-line lives up to the hype.
Dampier is as advertised with the run.
Johnson is just as freakishly athletic as always.
Parker and Rodger’s are 1a and 1b in no particular order with a solid stable of support.

      I am growing cautiously optimistic.

Believing that Cam would be healthy and playing… didn’t most of us have high expectations under these circumstances?

All of the injuries the past two seasons were not his fault.

Exactly. And if you can make it past year four, you get the NFL pension.
