Exactly, the pac-12 is more likely to stay at 12 teams than invite schools that hurt their academic/research profile or that don’t provide large enough media markets for revenue.

Currently there are almost zero incentives for conferences to expand to 16 teams. All you’re doing is spreading out the revenue pie between more teams.

Yeah, but I just don’t see us beating them unless something changes. We have had a chances. They weren’t that good last year and we still couldn’t beat them. Their offense tears up our defense every year for whatever reason.

Damn, he would be a great addition. I’ll never be in favor of dropping a player to add another. Sends the wrong message to players I think. A school should stand by is commitment to the player as well.
