Absolutely absurd that Vincent and Luca are playing at all tbh. Our WR and RB room are so much worse than initially expected in the preseason

I think Utah wins an ugly 21-20 game, and that while we win the game by record, we won’t come away happy with the actual on field performance and what it means going forward.

I obviously am happy with Singer, but he and Kuithe should not be the only two receiving targets who are good. The WR and TE corp aside from those too need to step it up big time.

I’m assuming Wilson plays. I’d say we have a 60/40 chance of winning, and that’s with having an extra week of preparation and healing, as well as ASU missing two players in the first half due to targeting penalties. As much as I love the insider information, onlyU has been quite off the mark with his info this season. The only thing he has said that’s been correct is that Singer is an NFL talent. But his comments about the OL, DE’s, LB’s (especially backups), and TE’s, and WR’s outside of Singer have been wrong.

These polls mean absolutely nothing right now, especially with all the upsets the at happened yesterday. We are not the 16th best team in the country with Wilson at the helm. Indiana, Pitt, Navy, Army, Illinois, and Boise State all have better resumes than us, and deserve to be ranked higher.

True, but the problem is that those “top teams” are just Ohio State and Texas. UGA and Bama have their own big weaknesses. Oregon does too. So far this year only Ohio State and Texas have looked truly elite.

There is ZERO indication that we are a good team.

2-4 Southern Utah

2-4 Baylor

1-4 Utah State

3-3 Oklahoma State that has lost 3 straight games, 2 of which have been blowouts.

Our loss is against an Arizona team that is currently down 18-3 against Texas Tech.

Michigan will probably lose to UW tbh. USC might even lose to Minnesota. Too bad the UW game is on peacock.

South Carolina > Ole Miss

Arkansas > Tennessee

Arizona had an extra week to prepare for Utah, while we had to go on the road to play Ok State. That is an advantage that cannot be overlooked and is a significant reason for Arizona won the game. This is an overreaction imo. The only team that can realistically beat us is TCU, but they let SMU score like 66 on them. The same SMU that barely beat Nevada and scored like 15 points on BYU.

We get a bye week to heal up and prepare for ASU. They have to play Kansas this week.

Ok, this was kinda funny lol. But you are right. The man needs to be a lean 190 at his heaviest, and he needs to focus on improving agility and elusiveness to make defenders miss, because he can’t break arm tackles at all.

Yup, our RB room is terrible outside of Bernard. Mitchell has no vision and can’t pass protect. Stanley is too light to pass protect and be a between the tackles RB. Vincent is a walkon. Bernard is literally our only good RB. The dropoff from him to the rest is a CHASM.
