  Damn you, Oregon. Make the tackle on that 4th and 3 and Utah’s at least 12 (Auburn doesn’t jump) and oregon’s top 10.

    This. I think that season has been the single biggest reason I have been tempering my expectations for this season. Excited to see what this team looks like against U$C and see if some of the hype is deserved.

      Unless something disasterous happens the next few weeks, USC should be our first true test to see how good we really might be.
      
      Would really like to see us finally win one in the Coliseum.

  Auburn wouldn’t have jumped us but Oregon wouldn’t have dropped below. The Utes would still have been 13th. For this week’s rankings it was a zero-sum game. Its bigger impact will be to the conference’s overall strength of schedule as the season progresses.
