We were never gonna run the table and get in the playoff — we don’t have the O-Line for that. The line didn’t look very good vs NIU or Idaho State, which should have made it obvious we weren’t a top 10 team.

The beauty of being in a conference is that all is not lost. I trust our coaches to sure up the O-Line enough to be serviceable, and I trust them to adjust the defense in ways that will keep Washington State from having their way.

Even with the O-Line struggles and penalties, the offense moved the ball consistently. Just couldn’t get the ball in the f****ing end zone. If Moss does miss time, that may push Ludwig to open it up more, which could be a positive. (Not losing Moss, just not being so conservative)

Football is the best, and I’m excited for the rest of the season.

The O-line played well enough to win, IMO. Utah got more yards than USC and was wayyyyyyy more consistent at moving the ball on offense vs USC’s sporadic BIG plays. Do you think USC’s line is better? They had to hold a block for 1.5 seconds for the ball and to be out.

You bastards blaming the Utah O-line for the loss is bull s**t. They didn’t fumble at the 1, they didn’t whiff on a sack and allow a TD in double coverage. They didn’t misread the read option inside the 5 yards line or call that stupid play. They didn’t tell two TE’s standing right next to each other to both block 1 receiver and not block a blitzing LB’er. They didn’t intend for their star player to get hurt.

They did help on 250 yards of rushing, a 5 YPC average vs USC’s 1.12 YPC, and another 200 yards in passing, for 450 total yards vs USC 396.

I believe in them, and I believe they had good game, really. You guys can say whatever the f**k you want. Sure they can improve, but I maintain they played well enough to win the game. The holding on Ford was BS. Other calls were too.

I don’t think the loss can be blamed on any one player or position group, but the OL did not play well enough to win the game as evidenced by the fact that we did not win the game. I’m mostly joking, but seriously, the OL gave up 2 sacks, 6 TFLs and Huntley was running for his life quite a bit last night. The pass blocking was not good.

Yeah right! Huntley not reading the read option correctly and keeping the ball and then the “sack” is not on the OL. Fotheringham and Kuithe missing assignments is not on the OL. I’ll give you Umana’s hold but not Fords.

100 percent Huntley had made poor reads on the read option for 3 years now. Don’t know if its ego or what but he isn’t the best option 90 percent of the time but he keeps around 50 percent.

Love the guy but this is a weakness.

We had a chance. Don’t bitch out on this. We could have won that game and should have. CFP was a legit chance but is gone now. Saying we are never is weak.
